our heart
stillness
artists waking up at 5am, getting home at 10pm with barely any food in their system, then doing it all over again throughout the week. sound familiar?
life can move quickly when you're creating and building towards a checkpoint in your journey. but the most important moment in your story, is right now. even if it’s just 10 minutes of you-time, that stillness gives you space to notice the things that can easily get lost along the way.
spacecare
our candles burn cleanly and slowly. we don't do plastic wax, filling your spaces with harmful fumes. we use natural waxes, and oils which do not contain any animal extracts/by-products.
at some point, we want to design our own signature holders with the same idea in mind: something made to be kept, reused and become a little memorabilia of our presence in your space.
the same way we care about our crafting process, we want you to care about your spaces too. (with #sexyscents only).
story
eventhngs is a small business, meaning the heart of it is still at home. all evencandles are hand-poured carefully in a bedroom with big dreams just like yours.
keep creating what calls you to create. at times it can feel pointless; like you're making something that's going nowhere. keep creating it. never lose the heart of why you began your story.
support
art looks great when it's completed, but the path is usually filled with thorns of self doubt, doubt from close friends, doubts from strangers, money problems, lack of experience, or the right tools.
we're here because we get it. our products are made to remind you of what matters most: you.
we want you to feel supported along the way; to keep going when things feel difficult; to remember that your worth isn't measured by what you make or how far you've gotten. through it all, to look after yourself too.
our story so far
even is an abbreviation of two words: everything and ends. another way of saying, it will pass.
this became a reminder i told myself through really tough moments, especially as a photographer. once the day was over and i got through it, i'd eat, play some games, watch a show – in short, direct my focus to spending time with myself. in between this, i'd always light a candle to clear the clouds in my head.
lighting the candle was like a checkpoint of "oh i did it".
living in london as a creative can feel like standing on an escalator. your body goes with the flow and somewhere along the way you realise that you haven't been still.
eventhngs began simply because i needed focus on the one thing that matters the most, myself. since then it has grown into designs (coming soon) made to remind you as well, to take better care of yourself along your own creative journeys.
give yourself grace, be your biggest supporter, and pat yourself on the back, even after the smallest of achievements.
